Kilo, my sweet baby. I wish we had more time together. I’ll be forever grateful for the time we did share. Thank you for loving me the way you did, for lighting up whenever you saw me. For the cute little trots you’d take as you led me to your food bowl to scratch your butt while you ate. You always brought a smile to my face with your sweet little chirps and eyes that looked up at me lovingly, trusting me with your whole self. I felt it when we laid together and I can still feel it now. Your absence from the house is so loud and heartbreaking, it feels like I will never be the same. I hope you are somewhere in the oblivion and our energies will reunite one day, and even though we won’t be ourselves anymore, we’ll somehow know we’ve found each other again.
