“There is no exercise better for the heart than reaching down and lifting people up.”

Dr. ElizabethDr. Elizabeth was very kind and caring. She assisted in making on of the worst days as peaceful as possible. We appreciate her very much.

Dr. KariDr. Kari was great. Professional, personal, and never once rushed us as we said goodbye to our Padme. Hopefully in many many years when our Obi's time has come Dr. Kari will be available again.

Dr. MorganDr. Weintraub is truly an angel on earth. She made one of the hardest days of our lives so much easier through her kindness, patience, and gentle presence. Hula was fifteen and had been living with dementia, which made this decision especially heartbreaking. We’d only ever said goodbye to our dogs because of physical illness, never cognitive decline, so this felt new and unbearably hard. The Laps of Love team moved quickly and compassionately to accommodate our choice, and Dr. Weintraub guided us through every step with such grace. Years ago, we had a horrible experience saying goodbye to Hula’s brother in a vet office environment, so we were terrified to go through that pain again. But this time was completely different. Hula’s passing was as peaceful and loving as it could have been. Dr. Weintraub took her time with us, and nothing ever felt rushed. I knew she was the perfect person to help Hula cross over when she gently dabbed Hula’s little chin after her ice cream treat. It felt like a couple of girls at a sleepover, and Hula was just the first to fall asleep. There were both tears and laughter. Even in such an earth-shattering moment, Dr. Weintraub kept the space light and full of love. We are endlessly grateful for her. I cannot recommend Laps of Love enough. Choosing this over a cold, unfamiliar vet’s office was the greatest gift we could have given Hula—and ourselves.
